Formerly a sleepy Spanish city, Barcelona was reborn during the 1992 Summer Olympics as an eclectic fusion of the modern and medieval. Or, take in the breathtaking cathedral in the Gothic Quarter or the almost-completed Sagrada Familia pictured  here.

Sample round trip excursion air fares from Phoenix to Barcelona including airport transfers and taxes are: (subject to change and availability) Economy $1018.75; Premium Economy upgrade $588; Business Class with sleeper seats upgrade $2790.49.  Fares are subject to change and availability.  Holiday packages are available in Barcelona from $217 per person, double for one night or from $305.52 for 2 nights.  Holidays Sitges, the charming seaside village 20 miles from Barcelona where hosts Jose Catalan and Lance Wilson have a second home are also available.

Discover each of our restaurant and bar venues in more detail below, and satisfy your appetite for adventure by booking an exceptional cruise onboard Celebrity Apex.

September 29 - Sète (France) Praised for its many canals and quaint neighborhoods, this romantic village is the French equivalent of Venice. There are markets to stroll through, museums to admire and beaches to take in the most breathtaking sunsets.

September 30 – Marseille, Provence (France) Stroll the spirit and charm of France's oldest city - along La Canabiere toward the Vieux Port where ships have docked for more than 26 centuries, or in Cours Julien, a large pedestrian square lined with some of Marseille's trendiest cafes and theatres. Shore excursions are available to many of Provence's famous sites such as Avignion and Arles.

October 1 - Nice (France) This jewel of the French Riviera is home to some of the world’s most luxurious hotels and terraced cafés. Stroll the ultra-famous Promenade des Anglais or see masterpieces by Matisse, Renoir, Monet and Chagall in one of Nice’s many museums. And of course, no trip to Nice would be complete without tasting its most renowned dish - bouillabaisse

October 2 - Ajaccio (Corsica) On the West coast of Corsica—southwest of Italy and southeast of France—lies Ajaccio, the island’s largest town. Replete with all the charm and sophistication one would expect of a French Mediterranean resort—palm trees, sandy beaches, bountiful shopping, beautiful marina and colorful cafes, bars and bistros. Famed for being Napolean Bonaparte’s birthplace, Ajaccio tips its hat to its most famous and storied resident throughout town, from his childhood home to seafront statues, museums and street names.

October 3  - At Sea to enjoy the many wonders of Celebrity Apex or just relax by the pool (left) or Magic Carpet (right). Magic Carpet℠ becomes an extraordinary venue high in the sky where we host mouthwatering experiences such as Dinner on the Edge. Down to Deck 14, the Magic Carpet℠ becomes a stunning extension of the main pool area, while on Deck 5, it serves as an unforgettable, open-air dining experience

October 4 – La Spezia, Florence (Italy) La Spezia lies between Genoa and Pisa, is the port for Florence.  Here, you find the Ufizzi Gallery, which houses Michelangelo's David and many works of art.  La Spezia is also minutes to the east of Cinque Terre—the five fishing ports that enjoy National Park status. The town also offers fantastic shopping opportunities, as well as plenty of trattorias to enjoy local, Ligurian cuisine.

October 5 - Rome (Italy) Uncovering authentic local finds and having experiences that make you feel like you’ve really connected with a place are important elements in ensuring an extraordinary vacation. We’re taking advantage of our partnership with Travel + Leisure to get their editors’ recommendations and insider tips on the places you will want to visit. Among the sights you'll be able to visit are Trevi Fountain, the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel, the Colosseum, and the Roman Forum to see its ancient ruins like the Temple of Julius Caesar.

October 6 - Naples (Italy) Framed by Mount Vesuvius along a dramatic skyline, the 2,800 year-old port city of Naples is chock full of historical sites, churches, and museums that make it an incredible place for you to explore. And in the region where pizza was first invented, you know the food is going to be incredible. Just 35 miles down the coast, Salerno offers you a rich history but also boasts a marvelous collection of parks, natural wonders, and unique vantage points to take in the beauty of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Two cities. One incredible stretch of Italian coastline.

October 7 - Valetta (Malta) In addition to a number of significant works of art, this town is known for the many fortifications built by the Knights of Malta, who for years helped care for European pilgrims and crusaders en rouute to and from the Holy Land.

October 8 – At Sea

October 9 - Palma de Mallorca (Spain) This island enclave is often described as a mini-Barcelona, with a Gothic feel that has overtaken centuries of Roman and Moorish culture. Visit El Baluard, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, which was built on the site of the remnants of the 16th century Bastio de Sant Pere, or shop for bargain pearls at the city's many jewelers.

October 10 – Arrive Barcelona at 7 a.m.  Fly home on our optional flights or extend your stay in Spain or Europe.
